Kylie M. Newcomb is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Advanced Surgical Technology with a clinical focus on vascular surgery, general surgery, and hormone optimization. She brings the training of a master's-level clinician and the hands-on experience of a surgical nurse to every patient encounter.

Education
Kylie earned her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Walden University in February 2025. She previously completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University in May 2022 and her Associate of Science in Nursing at Kaskaskia College in October 2020.

An extraordinary level of experience: Kylie M. Newcomb
Kylie joined the Advanced Surgical Technology team as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2025, where she evaluates and manages patients in vascular and general surgery clinics, provides comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care, diagnoses and treats acute and chronic conditions within her scope of practice, performs office-based procedures, and develops individualized treatment plans. She also evaluates and manages patients receiving hormone optimization therapy.
Prior to earning her advanced practice credentials, she served as a Registered Nurse at Advanced Surgical Technology from February 2022 to February 2025, working across primary care, surgery clinic, operating room, and perioperative nursing roles. She began her nursing career at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital on the Medical-Surgical Unit from February 2021 to February 2022.
On a personal note…
A lifelong southern Illinois resident, Kylie is passionate about serving the community she calls home. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Troy, their son, Tripp, and their dogs. She also loves to travel with friends, get outdoors, and stay current through ongoing professional education.
