VTone

This treatment strengthens the pelvic floor muscles, tightens the vagina, and reduces urinary incontinence.

What Do FormaV and VTone Feel Like?

FormaV and VTone treatments are gentle and require no anesthetic. They are applied with an applicator that is carefully inserted into the vagina. The radiofrequency of FormaV will feel warm, which many women find soothing and comfortable. VTone contracts the muscles at a high intensity to strengthen the pelvic floor, which you will experience as a tingling, contracting sensation that is easily tolerable, not painful.

What happens during the procedure?

We provide your procedure in a private, relaxing room. The length of your vaginal canal will be gently and carefully measured to know exactly how far the wand should be inserted to provide maximum healing, without going any further than necessary. The treatment wand will lubricated with a small amount of gel to help ease the comfort of entry, then gently inserted into the vagina.

Once the wand is inserted, it will apply either RF energy or muscle stimulation (depending on which treatment you are having), targeting the deeper layers of tissue in the vaginal walls.

Procedure time varies, but generally treatments take 20-30 minutes from start to finish.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The number of treatment sessions you need will depend on your unique feminine wellness concerns. We will help determine this during your consultation and design a custom treatment plan for you.

Generally, patients may require the following:

VTone: Most patients need two treatments a week for four weeks to achieve ideal results.

FormaV: Patients will need three consecutive treatment sessions spread out over a period of twelve to eighteen weeks for the most ideal results.
